Far Away Trains

Hi! 'Far Away Trains' is a lab for myself to experiment with some cool technologies like classic ASP, .NET and AJAX.

The site is template-content-CMS-driven using an Access database, a far cry from my usual PHP/MySQL database.

Over the next few months, I intend to make the code I produce more modular and efficient with the above languages. So far, so good.

The domain name for my side-project 'farawaytrains.co.uk' has been purchased. I chose the name after the stunning 2001 album from Ulrich Schnauss.

I intend to use it to test ASP applications, improve my coding procedures and generally experiment with Flash, Photoshop and 3D Animation.
